Today everyone wants a spotless and radiant skin but due to busy and stressful life schedule, pollution and increasing the rates of consuming fast food, skin exert. These days no one has enough time to take care of their skin properly which results acne, redness, pigmentation, white and blackheads etc.

Causes of skin diseases-

  • Excessive intake of oily and deep fried food.
  • Excessive intake of heavy food like cheese, pizza, burger etc.
  • Excessive intake of sour food like sauce.
  • Excessive intake of salty food like pickle.

  • Incompatible food that is called  viruddha ahara like sour fruits  and milk together, fish and milk together.
  • Incompatible lifestyle which is against nature or prakriti of a person.

These causes generate toxins in our body. When these toxins accumulate in skin, body tissues and contaminate them, skin disease erupt.

According to Ayurveda, Skin disease occur when there is imbalance in the doshas, dhatus in our body. Vata, pitta, kapha dosha are invoved but prime dosha is pitta.

  5. Detoxification: Ayurveda employs purification therapies known as Panchakarma to eliminate toxins from the body. These therapies can include procedures like Virechana (purgation) and Raktamokshana (bloodletting), which eliminating impurities that subsidise the problem.
  6. External Treatments: External treatments like Abhyanga (oil massage) are often recommended to nourish and moisturize the skin. Different oils are used based on the dosha imbalance and the skin condition.
  7. Customized Approach: This personalized approach aims to address the root cause of the skin disorder rather than just its symptoms.
